This was the first charger that I bought from Lightmalls and I've been totally happy with it. It will display the status of and charge just about everything, except for maybe rechargeable alkaline (and who even uses those anymore). As others have mentioned, this can't fit four 26650 batteries at the same time, in fact you'll have to fiddle a bit to even get two of those on it at the same time, since they can't fit in adjacent slots. Due to the addition of the case stiffening rails on the two outer edges, which are a little too tall near the positive terminals, this physically obstructs those larger diameter batteries, in either outboard position, from sitting in the slot properly and making good contact. So, it's pretty easy to get one 26650 battery into one of the inner slots, but you might, or might not, be able to get a second one to make good contact in either of the outer slots. That's really a shame, because I love the run time those bigger batteries offer and I have one of the LM XHP 70 LED flashlights that uses two of those 26650 LI-ion batteries (it's awesome, by the way). So far, I have been able to successfully charge 2 of those at once, in this charger, but only just barely. Other than that, it's an awesome charger, as is it's less expensive sibling, the Intellicharger i4 (which I use as my go to travel charger).
This is a great charger and I really like the charging display. Works flawlessly
Just a great charger. I love the four battery capacity, the LED display, and the fact that I can mix different battery sizes simultaneously. This is a world-class charger, worth every penny, and I highly recommend it.
I bought this charger to recharge AA NiMh Sanyo Eneloop brand cells and additionally I wanted to charge 18650 batteries for my flashlights. The charger correctly identifies the battery inserted in each slot and shows you the status of charging - time charging, volts and current being drawn. The charger seems very well made and designed - I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality charger. C and D cells won't fit - you will need another charger if you want to charge C and D cells. You can charge AA cells and then fit them into C or D cell adapter sleeves if you wish to go that route.
I bought the d2 for traveling and I have the I4 for charging at home, but I wanted a second 4 slot charger so I got the D4 It's not the fastest charger with 4 batteries, only 375mah or 150mah in low you do get 750mah with only 1 or 2 batteries in the slots. I have tested the D4 with 4 eneloop AA at 375mah and 4 AAA at 150mah and they charged great in very reasonable time. I would recommend this charger to anyone that are interested in a good digital display charger.
This charger works as advertised. I own the previous model (i4) and the display set this one apart. It is nice to be able to monitor voltage on the cells and keep track of time on the charger.
I would highly recommend this product and seller delivered on time,it delivered to me just in 8days
