That's a well built flashlight. It has smooth aluminum reflector so it produces a bright hot spot.
It has a great finish and arrived with the threads clean.

Trustfire X8 has a very high manufacturing quality, looks like it's going to last long.
Good cooling of the LED.
Very high output - shines about 300m with ease.
Annoying modes. Would be perfect light with only 3 modes: low, med, high - in that exact order.
Since it can be used with one or two 18650 at a time, it's very universal also. If you want it to be lightweight then you'll use only one battarie, if you want it to last long and don't care about extra weight - you'll use 2 baataries.
I love this light.
Could be cheaper, because it's an old model already.
